Sadler Phoenix 27
This Sadler Phoenix 27 was designed by David Sadler from the mould of the Sadler Frigate 27 but with 7ins deeper topsides giving more headroom . The hull was built in 1988 by Island Plastics and then dry stored until the boat was completed by a boat builder and launched in 1998. The engine was fitted in 1998 and the boat was not used until then. She was recently put back in the water after valeting and antifouling.
She has been lightly used since and is very well presented. The spars are by Kemp and the rig has forestay, inner forestay and twin masthead backstays. The furling gear has twin foils for twin headsails. Sails are all in excellent condition. Winches are by Lewmar and lines lead aft with clutches by Lewmar. The wheel steering is a feature not often found on a 27 footer. The propeller is a Flexofold 2 blade folding prop.
