Moody 33S - £22,000
This fin keel version of the popular Moody 33 S, designed by Angus Primrose, has been very well maintained in her present and previous ownerships. As our photographs show she is well presented and in excellent condition.
She has had her standing rigging professionally replaced in 2017, and the original Bukh 20 replaced in 2015 with a Bukh 24 HP with approximately 181 hrs use. The cooling water and fuel pre filter were replaced at this time.
The present owners have re wired the boat, fitted an electric windlass, and a 12v distribution board.
Other electrical upgrades including a new diode split charger for engine and service batteries. A NASA battery monitor and a Vesper Marine XB 8000 AIS transponder have been fitted.
The internal saloon woodwork has been upgraded in African teak where possible.
The present owners bought her in 2013, the previous owners having invested in a significant re-fit in 2011 when the following work was carried out:
New chain plates
Starboard and port baby stays replaced
Genoa tracks re sealed
New P bracket
Keel bolts replaced.
There is no recent survey but the 2013 survey is available. This does not reflect work undertaken since this time.
We strongly advise an early visit to view this boat.
