Wooden Classic 38 ft Motor Yacht - £29,995
El Manana was built in 1957 as a gentleman's yacht. Following an extended period of rebuilding and renovation she is now offered for sale.
Bought by the present owner in 2011 she has been extensively refitted. She has new bespoke cabin furniture in sapele, a new galley, and a new forward electric toilet.
The hull is larch planks on oak frames. Previously painted white the hull has recently been varnished. The decks have been repaired and replaced and are now laid in iroko.
The wheelhouse has been repaired and refurbished.
A 60hp Beta Marine engine has been installed with less than 100 use. El Manana has a new exhaust system, new seacocks, new fuel tank and fuel system, new electrics throughout.
The original aluminium masts have been removed and the decks made good. A set of newly made Douglas Fir masts are provided should the new owner wish to include them.
Now that the deck has been replaced the windlass requires refitting, and guard rails are required on the after deck. Whether to fit masts is a matter of choice for a new owner. Any work required by a new owner can be carried out by the boat yard.

On the starboard side the upper berth extends to create a comfortable double.
The accommodation is heated by a Hot Pot multifuel stove. The headroom throughout is 6 ft 3 ins.
Forward of the saloon is a large heads compartment with electric toilet and vanity unit.
The owner's cabin is located aft behind the wheelhouse. The large double berth requires a mattress. This cabin is spacious with storage and room to stand.
